Finding Articles

Evidence found in newspaper, magazine and journal articles is more specific than background information and support your arguments. Scholarly (peer-reviewed) articles are often required for academic papers. These articles are found using subscription library databases.

A full list of the library subscription databases are below, followed by a short list of databases to locate newspaper, magazine, and journal articles related to history:

Videos and Films

The Mexican Revolution is an A&E Special that takes a close look at the Mexican Revolution, a revolt against a dictator that ended in civil war, with action on both sides of the Mexico-U.S. border. Offers a much needed historical perspective on Mexican-American relations. The documentary is available in two separate library databases: Films On Demand (FOD) & World History in Video - United States. Embedded below is from FOD.
