The month of June is recognized as PRIDE month in the United States to commemorate the pivotal moment in the LGBTQ+ movement when the Stonewall Riots took place in 1969. We take this month to recognize, learn, and support our LGBTQ+ community members, students, faculty, and staff.
One of Mt. SAC's core values is equity and diversity: "We value a diverse, equitable, inclusive, socially just, accessible learning, and anti-racist working environment." This means the college fully supports the LGBTQ+ community and is a safe and welcoming environment for all.
