LGBTQ+ Pride Month

June is Pride Month in the United States, a month-long celebration of LGBTQ+ culture and communities.

Welcome to Pride Month at Mt. SAC!

The month of June is recognized as PRIDE month in the United States to commemorate the pivotal moment in the LGBTQ+ movement when the Stonewall Riots took place in 1969. We take this month to recognize, learn, and support our LGBTQ+ community members, students, faculty, and staff.

One of Mt. SAC's core values is equity and diversity: "We value a diverse, equitable, inclusive, socially just, accessible learning, and anti-racist working environment." This means the college fully supports the LGBTQ+ community and is a safe and welcoming environment for all.

The Pride Center at Mt. SAC

The Mt. SAC Pride Center is a resource center and lounge space serving the LGBTQ+ community of Mt. San Antonio College.

Their mission is to foster an affirming environment for people across the gender and sexuality identity spectrums where the LGBTQ+ community can come together to:

  • Learn about and celebrate ourselves, our communities, and our intersectionalities.
  • Find support and resources to be the best version of ourselves (in our academic, social, professional, and internal lives).
