Search Tips

The OneSearch (Mt SAC Library Catalog) helps you find books in print and online format. You may find books about your authors and/or their works.

When searching for books on literature, you can search for the author or title. In some cases, it will help if you combine your search terms using the Boolean operator, AND. Quotation marks are helpful when you search for phrases. Below are some examples:

"joy luck club"
poe and "tell-tale heart"
angelou and biography
"animal farm" and criticism
